About Walk A Mile in Their Shoes 2022

Thank you for registering to Walk A Mile in Their Shoes!

You can find full information about Event Day by Visiting our "FAQ" page

YWCA Regina's Walk A Mile in Their Shoes is a community-focused fundraiser where we ask our supporters to step up to raise awareness on gender-based violence, with the added challenge of taking a walk in red shoes, a visual symbol to show support for those who have experienced violence.

It is a light-hearted way for our walkers to challenge themselves to learn about the impact of intimate partner violence, and to show their support. Walkers are invited to learn more about the realities of gender-based violence in Saskatchewan while stepping in to their roles as leaders, allies and change-makers.

It takes concrete action to step up against violence: that is why we invite YOU to show your support, challenge yourself, and challenge your community, to have difficult conversations about domestic violence and speak out against cultures of violence.

When you support Walk A Mile in Their Shoes, you are helping raise vital funds that make it possible for us to challenge violence and create safety and hope for survivors.
