About the Ride

Cyclists from all over gather at Stewart Park in Ithaca NY to Ride around Cayuga Lake while fully supported by a contingent of volunteers at the seven pitstops placed strategically around the lake. Riders will also be assisted by vehicle safety and gear support (cars and motorcycles), bike repair techs, a lunch pitstop at the halfway point, and a great celebration to follow at the finish line! You can also register for smaller routes instead of the 90 or 100 miles around the lake, we have smaller options ranging between 14 to 42 miles that begin at specific pitstops and require a short bus ride from Stewart Park.

Registration for the Ride opens on April 1st, 2026 and is free to register. We ask all riders to fundraise $200 in order to participate on Ride day; all money raised by our Riders goes back to STAP to fill the gaps in the funding required to serve folks living with HIV/AIDS, others with two or more chronic illnesses, people who are LGBTQ+ Youth at Identity Youth Center, or Syringe Exchange participants. All registered riders will get their own fundraising page as well as some tools to help them fundraise including the ability to create their own fundraising events, the ability to text their donors thank you, livestream fundraising, and more!

Parking Information for Cass & Stewart Park

Please do not park on the grass at Cass Park or Stewart Park—this is strictly enforced by the City of Ithaca. Maps of Stewart and Cass Park with designated parking areas

At Cass Park, we’ll also have maps for riders who want to bike the Waterfront Trail back to Stewart Park after the Ride. Shuttle service will also run between Cass Park and Stewart Park
at designated times (posted on Ride Day). Note: bikes may not fit on
the shuttle—if that’s the case, you’ll need to leave your bike at Cass Park, drive your car back, and return to pick it up (and join us for the Closing Ceremony!).
