Just think about how screwed up you are when you are really hungry.  How you cannot think clearly, have a short fuse, feel distracted.  And you are an adult, fully grown.

The sad truth is, kids go hungry to school.

Imagine how difficult it is for a kid to grow (physically, emotionally, and intellectually) with no food.

To help, I am participating in Chefs Cycle where together we are committing ourselves to raising awareness and money for No Kid Hungry. What group of people knows food better than our Chef friends?

At No Kid Hungry, they say that $1 can help provide 10 meals for kids. Donors sometimes ask: How is this possible?

It’s not because they get a bulk discount on food. In fact, they don’t buy food at all. Because lack of food isn’t the problem in the United States. The problem is ensuring that children have reliable access to the food they need.

No Kid Hungry does that by supporting school and community meals programs, providing grants to help people get the equipment they need to feed kids and advocating for better laws and policies.

Work with me to raise awareness and donate to my fundraiser for Chef’s Cycle.

Together we will positively impact the futures of kids across our country.

Some times the truth is just staring you in the face.

We all want a better country, for ourselves, families and communities. How are we supposed to have a thriving economy in the near future if 20% of our future workforce is hungry. Imaging trying to grow and learn on an empty stomach.
Please support me in my journey with Chefs Cycle.
