Join us for the 5th Annual Robert Davidson Walk for PF, hosted by Heather Davidson, as we come together to honour loved ones, raise awareness, and support those affected by pulmonary fibrosis. Bring the whole family for a morning of community, connection, and activity. Whether you walk the trail, complete multiple laps, or simply cheer participants on, everyone is welcome.
Park and register at Unionville Curling Club and we'll be leaving from there to walk in TooGood Pond park

Heather Davidson hosts this walk each year in honour of her husband Robert Davidson, founder of the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (CPFF). Participants are encouraged to walk for their own loved ones as well and to embrace Robert’s guiding motto: “Never Surrender.”

After being diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, Robert chose to face the disease with determination and optimism, inspired by Winston Churchill’s words: “Never surrender.” Rather than letting the disease define him, he dedicated his energy to helping others living with pulmonary fibrosis.

He founded the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in 2009, less than two years after his own diagnosis with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and just months before receiving a double-lung transplant. Through his courage and compassion, Robert brought together patients, families, and healthcare professionals across the country, helping many Canadians live as fully as possible despite this devastating disease.
Robert passed away on May 1, 2019, at the age of 71. His vision continues to inspire the PF community, and this walk carries forward his commitment to supporting those affected by pulmonary fibrosis.
Registered participants who raise $50 or more for the 2026 Clarke Walk for PF will automatically be entered to win a WestJet Gift of Flight. Each additional $50 earns another entry.
