Andres Moran-MacDonald is Competing in an Ironman to Raise Funds for PF

Andres is an incoming 4th year student at Queen's University. This year, he's been working on researching interstitial pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) as part of his co-op at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is competing in the Subaru Ironman Canada - Penticton on August 28th and will be donating 1/2 his proceeds to CPFF to support IPF. Donate to help him reach his fundraising goal of $3000 for pulmonary fibrosis.

Orianna Smith is Running a Marathon (+More) to Raise Funds for PF in Honour of Her Moms

Orianna's family has been hit doubly hard by pulmonary fibrosis. Both of her mothers (Holly and Heather) have this fatal disease.

Orianna will be running daily for two weeks throughout September in Falsecreek in Vancouver, BC PLUS she will be competing in a marathon in Montreal, Quebec from September 23-25 2022, in honour of her moms. Donate to help her reach her $5000 fundraising goal for pulmonary fibrosis in support of CPFF.

John Dennis is a Man on A Mission

John Dennis, who turns 78 in October 2022, received a single lung transplant at age 76 thanks to his perseverance. In June 2022, John rode across PEI’s The Island Trail in order to raise awareness, hope and funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis through his “I Ride For You & Me” Campaign.

Donate to help John establish a research fund in memory of his younger brother, Brian Dennis, who had PF, and Barbara Ann Barr Haylock, who also had PF and was fervent patient advocate. Help John reach his $1,400,000 fundraising goal.

Start Your Own Walk

We suggest that you keep it simple: a Community Walk, Roll, Run for pulmonary fibrosis is an inclusive, open-air activity that can be enjoyed by all. You don’t need to be a technical whiz to make this happen. Start by sharing your event details with CPFF via email (info@cpff.ca) and we'll create your event page. Next, recruit your participants, and ask them to register for the event as an individual or team. Then, start promoting your event.

Pulmonary Fibrosis Month

We've been through a lot in the last couple of years, but our CPFF community is strong. This September, PF Month is going to bigger and better than ever with all of the PF community walks, online educational forums, virtual meetups and more.

Because of You, Hope Breathes Here

Whatever the challenge, CPFF supporters have always risen to the occasion to raise awareness, hope and funds for people living with pulmonary fibrosis.

From coast to coast people are gathering to walk, roll, and run. Our goal is to collectively walk across Canada by the end of September 2022. That's 6,818 kilometers!
