1. ​Eligibility
    The WestJet Gift of Flight Fundraising Incentive Contest (the “Contest”) is open to all registered participants of any 2026 Hope Breathes Here Walk event organized by the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (“CPFF”) who are legal residents of Canada (excluding Québec) and who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
    For the purposes of these Rules, a “Registered Participant” means an individual who has completed official registration for a 2026 Hope Walk event organized by CPFF.
    Employees, officers, directors, and Board members of CPFF, as well as its contractors, vendors, agents, and representatives, and members of their immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children, spouse, and partner) or persons residing in the same household, are not eligible to enter or win the Contest.
    The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
  2. No Purchase or Fundraising Necessary
    No purchase, donation, or fundraising is required to enter or win. An alternate method of entry is available as outlined below.
  3. How to Enter
    Fundraising Entry
    • Each Registered Participant who raises at least $50 CAD by the fundraising deadline will receive one (1) entry into the Contest.
    • Participants will receive one (1) additional entry for every additional $50 CAD raised
    • Funds raised may include:
      • Personal fundraising contributions
      • Donations made in support of the participant by others
    • There is no limit to the number of entries that may be earned through fundraising.
    • Alternate Method of Entry – No Fundraising Required
      • To enter without fundraising, an eligible individual (Registered Participant) must submit a written request including their full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and the name of their local Hope Walk event, along with a short paragraph (minimum 50 words) describing why they support the Hope Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
      • Entries must be received by the fundraising deadline and may be submitted by:

    • Each eligible alternate entry will receive one (1) entry, equal to the entry received for raising $50. Limit of one (1) entry per person through the Alternate Method of Entry.
  4. Fundraising Deadline
    All fundraising totals and alternate method of entry submissions must be received and recorded by 11:59 PM (local time) on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
  5. Draw Date
    The random draw will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, from all eligible entries received.
  6. Prize
    One (1) WestJet “Gift of Flight” voucher, valid for:
    • One (1) round-trip flight for two (2) guests
    • To any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination. (No cash value, fees, taxes, surcharges not included, blackout dates and restrictions apply).
    • All bookings and travel must be completed by Sunday, June 27, 2027.

    • The approximate retail value of the prize may vary depending on destination, routing, and time of travel.
    • The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, refundable, or convertible to cash. CPFF reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value in the event the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
  7. Winner Selection & Notification
    • The selected entrant will be chosen by random draw.
    • The selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be declared the winner.
    • The winner will be contacted using the information provided at the time of registration or entry.
    • If the selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days, declines the prize, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or is otherwise found to be ineligible, CPFF reserves the right to select an alternate entrant from the remaining eligible entries.
  8.  Odds of Winning
    Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the fundraising deadline.
  9. Publicity
    By entering the Contest, entrants agree to the use of their name, city of residence, and photograph (if applicable) for winner announcements and related publicity carried out by CPFF, without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  10.  Privacy
    Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and in accordance with CPFF’s Privacy Policy, available at (insert link). By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for these purposes.
  11. Release and Limitation of Liability
    By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless CPFF, its employees, directors, officers, Board members, agents, representatives, contractors, and vendors, as well as WestJet and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to:
    • Participation in the Contest;
    • The acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of the prize;
    • Any technical, administrative, or human error in the administration of the Contest; or
    • Any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or use of the prize.
    • The prize is provided by WestJet and is subject to the terms and conditions of the WestJet Gift of Flight voucher.   12.  General Conditions
    • The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. 
    • CPFF reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, if any factor interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Rules.
    • This contest is not open to residents of Québec

Things to know about the gift of flight*

    • Fees, taxes, and surcharges are the responsibility of guests traveling and must be paid for at the time of booking with a valid credit card. Does not include optional fees such as checked baggage or cabin upgrades. 

    • Valid on any regularly scheduled WestJet marketed and operated flight. Voucher is not valid for redemption on WestJet Vacations' or Sunwing Vacations' packages, flights operated by codeshare partners, charters, or any interline flights.  

    • All bookings and travel must be completed by June 27, 2027.

    • Voucher is limited and subject to promotional space availability of eligible fare options and flight schedule. Not all flights have promotional space.  

    • Flights must be roundtrip to and from the same locations. All guests must travel together on the same itinerary, dates and flights. 

    • Voucher cannot be used on some dates, including statutory holidays and peak travel dates.
