"Wear a Hat, Raise Money, Change Lives"

Hello friends, family, and colleagues,

Our team, Faculty of Nursing - University of Windsor, is proud to announce that we are participating in the 2026 Hats On for Healthcare campaign!

Throughout the month of March, we are putting our heads together (and our nursing caps too!) to raise funds for the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. Our goal is to raise $3000 to support the purchase of life-saving equipment and enhance patient care for our community.

Why We Are Participating:

As nursing faculty, we are shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals who will care for our communities in the years to come. Supporting Hats On For Healthcare helps provide critical capital equipment in hospitals that our students—and all healthcare workers—will rely on every day. By participating, we not only honor and support the current frontline heroes but also invest in the future of healthcare, ensuring our students have the resources, tools, and inspiration to provide the best care possible.

How You Can Support Us:

2. Students: Donate $5 to wear your most creative, funny, or stylish hat in class during the week of March 10th. Share your photos with us using #HatsOnForHealthcare.
   

3. Faculty: Join our team, wear a hat, and challenge your students to participate.

4. Spread awareness—share our mission with friends, family, and colleagues to help support healthcare workers. Share our page with your social networks to help us reach more people!
