Quote from our Grand Marshal, KOLD News 13 Chief Meteorologist, Erin Christiansen

Erin Christiansen
"I'm honored to be the human Grand Marshal of the first Pets of Pima Parade! A parade showcasing pets of all kinds is such a festive way to support shelter animals. This event is going to take off, growing year after year. My PACC pup Roxy and I are thrilled to be part of the very first Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade." --Erin Christiansen
Quote from our 4-Legged Grand Marshal, Call of Duty Rex, and his owner, Erin!
"Erin: We are very excited and honored to participate as a Grand Marshal for the upcoming Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade! We can’t wait to see everyone and their furry companions! PACC is near and dear to our hearts, as they are where we rescued Rex and our other dog, Hank.
Rex: Woof! Woof!"
"...Rex has now appeared on magazine covers, created content for Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, and Black Rifle Coffee. Most recently, Rex has starred alongside Chris Pratt in an upcoming TV series. Erin and Rex are dedicated to making the world a better place for working dogs through Rex’s social media platforms." -- honestpets.co

Why Participate?

This is Rio
Because you love animals and know that pets make our lives more fun, more meaningful, and more loving. POPP is an opportunity to celebrate the animals who enrich your lives, while generating support for pets who need people to love.
Plus, who doesn’t love a parade?!? Live entertainment, games, cool cars, and thousands of adorable animals of all shapes and sizes. What could be more fun than partying with your pooch, carousing with your cat, or raging with your reptile?
Pets = Love. Parade = Love. So, we ask: Why not participate and be among the first to experience Tucson's newest tradition!
How Your Support Makes a Difference
Pets give us their unconditional love. However, not all pets have someone to love. And some pet owners need occasional help to keep their companion animal healthy and happy. Pima Animal Care Center exists to help these pets and people. Annually, PACC helps over 15,000 pets find new furever families and has the best live outcome percentage of any large public shelter in the nation. Additionally, PACC assists people who need help for their pets, preserving 1000’s of families and saving these animals from the shelter experience. Your participation in POPP celebrates the pet(s) in your life and supports the pets in all our lives.
