FAQs


Is there team registration? Yes. After you register you will be given the option to create a team, join an existing team, or participate individually. 


Do I have to fundraise? No, you are not required to fundraise to participate in this event, but we hope you will! Money raised will directly support the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. At a time when so many survivors of abuse are experiencing isolation, we hope that this event and fundraiser will provide some much needed connection and communicate to everyone experiencing abuse that you are not alone. How do I turn in my donations? You can either raise money online, turn in your donations at packet pick up on race day, or mail to us at: WSCADV, 107 Spring Street Seattle, WA 98104. Thank you for your support!


When does registration close? Registration closes on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM (PST) or when we sell out, whichever comes first. 


Once online registration closes, can I still register? No. There will be no race day registration this year. 


What about children? Only registered runners/walkers will be permitted on the course. Children who can complete a 5K on their own are more than welcome to register! We have a special youth/student rate for participants 18 & under. Very small children & infants that cannot complete the 5K on their own are permitted on the course in a stroller or baby carrier without registration, although you won't receive a medal or a shirt for them.


Can I bring a stroller? Yes, strollers are permitted on the course. Our course is ADA compliant so you will be able to navigate the entire course via ramps! You are also welcome to wear your baby in a carrier or pack. 


Are pets allowed? No, pets are not allowed at this event.


Can friends and family come to cheer me on? Yes, spectators will be allowed this year! Your supporters will enter the ballpark through Centerfield Gate where they will go through security before being directed to the spectator seating area!


Once online registration closes, can I still register? No. There will be no race day registration this year. 


Where do I pick up my packet? Participants will pick up their packets in front of Left Field Gate starting at 7 AM on Sunday, June 4.


Where do I park? Your registration includes free parking during the event at the Mariners Parking Garage, located just south of the ballpark on Edgar Martinez Drive. Additional paid parking is available at the Century Link Event Center Garage, located just north of the ballpark on Royal Brougham Way. 


Is there a gear/clothing check? Yes, there will be a gear/clothing check available next to Center Field Gate. 


If I can't make it, will you refund my registration fee? No, registration for this event is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cannot make it on race day, we will consider your registration a donation to the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. And please note: we will not be mailing race bags to in-person participants that do not show up on race day.
