Subject: Support Our Rock the Ride Team!
Dear [Employer's Name],
I’m excited to share that I’m participating in the 8th Annual Rock the Ride event on Saturday, March 8th. This event raises funds for the new pilot Heart Strong Future Grant, which supports local organizations addressing stroke and cardiac issues. It also funds a Microgrant offering financial assistance to stroke or cardiac patients with medical expenses.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S., affecting millions of people each year. Your support can help provide critical resources for those battling heart disease and support organizations focused on awareness, prevention, treatment, and recovery.
As part of my team, we are working hard to make a difference, and I would be incredibly grateful if [Company Name] would consider supporting us with a donation. Your contribution will directly impact those in need and help us reach our fundraising goals.
Thank you for considering supporting this important cause. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Best regards,
[Your Name]
Day 1: Kickstart your fundraising by making a self-donation of $25. It will inspire others to give!
Day 2: Call three of your extended family members – aunts & uncles, grandparents, cousins – and ask them to each match your $25 donation. Now, you’re up to $100!
Day 3: Post on social media, along with the link to your fundraising page, explaining why you are fundraising. If three people give $25 each, you’re up to $175!
Day 4: Send an email to family and friends with your fundraising link. Ask them to help you hit your fundraising goal. If three of them give $10 each, you’re already at $205 – just $45 more to go to meet your personal goal!
Day 5: Text the link to your 5 best friends to ask them to each make a $10 donation. Now you’re up to $255 – You've passed your goal!
Day 6: Check out @rock.on.society's social media for content that stands out to you, then share it on your social pages along with your fundraising link. If two more people give $15 each, now you’re up to $285!
Day 7: Reach out to your favorite family member or friend and ask for one final $15 donation. Then, they can help you celebrate when you hit $300!
