The Gut Friendly Challenge is an easy, and fun way to make a real difference for those living with IBD! ​

General fundraising strategies

  • Don't be afraid to ask for support. You never know who may have a connection to IBD and an interest in supporting your efforts. You may get a few "no's" along the way, but don't let that discourage you!  

Share your personal connection to IBD and why you're fundraising. 

  • Fundraisers who personalize their ask raise 4X more than those who don't! 

Set a fundraising goal and create a roadmap to get there.

Use this simple recipe to raise $150.

  • Make a $15 self-donation to kickstart your fundraising ($15)
  • Ask 1 person to donate $5 for each meal you cook ($35)
  • Ask 5 people to donate $20 when you complete the challenge ($100)

Aiming higher? Cook up $500 with just 9 people!

  • Make a $20 self-donation to kickstart your fundraising ($20)
  • For each meal you prepare ask 2 people to donate $20 or 4 people to donate $10 ($280)
  • Ask 4 people to donate $5 for each meal you cook ($140)
  • Ask 2 people to donate $40 one time ($80)
