We are ending HIV in our community!
Hi there! I’m Amber, and like most who are participating in this, AID’s research and awareness has a place close to my heart. I grew up in the 90’s during a time when HIV/AID’s was far less treatable than it is now. My mother volunteered for many years specifically doing AID’s hospice. I met many beautiful, talented , fabulous gay men. (I would later learn that my own step father was HIV+). This had a huge impact on me not just in regards to AID’s but in volunteering for causes in general. I am participating for awareness and research and in memory of these amazing people. Please consider donating. Though treatment and prevention has come along way, research is still important. Thank you!
