On Saturday, May 30, AIDS WALK Charlotte will celebrate 30 years of bringing our community together to fight HIV stigma and raise funds for RAIN. We would love for you to join us by volunteering and helping us produce an amazing event.
Volunteers Needed: 14
Time: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Assist with registration and check-in for all walkers. This could include handing out t-shirts/patches, checking in registered walkers and getting walkers registered. There will be a mini training the morning of the walk so everyone can be on the same page.
Volunteers Needed: 10
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Assist in directing and welcoming walkers to the walk, where to check-in/register and other important points of interest. You will be paired up with at least two people per location.
Volunteers Needed: 10
Time: 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM
These volunteers will be placed around the field to cheer on walkers and keep up the energy!
Volunteers Needed: Unlimited
Time: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM / 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Assist RAIN staff with setting up the venue that includes unloading the truck of supplies, setting up tables and other displays. Once the event is over you will assist in breaking everything down and loading the truck up.
