About AIDS WALK Charlotte 2026

HELP US REACH $200,000!

WE'RE STILL HERE! Join us on Saturday, May 30, as we commemorate 30 years of AIDS WALK Charlotte, a powerful event that unites our community in the fight against HIV stigma and raises vital funds for RAIN.

For over three decades, RAIN has been at the forefront, empowering individuals living with HIV and those at risk, promoting health, and breaking down barriers of stigma and discrimination. Their services and programs provide essential support to those in need, with every dollar raised during the walk remaining right here in Charlotte to benefit the local community.

HIV affects everyone, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation, and RAIN is committed to educating and advocating for all individuals impacted by this condition. Through their efforts, they strive for a greater understanding of HIV's impact and work towards a future free from stigma.

AIDS WALK Charlotte has consistently been the Carolinas' largest HIV fundraising walk since 1997, raising an impressive $3.7 million to date. The roughly one-mile walk around the field can be completed in around 25 minutes, making it accessible to participants of all ages. As a family-oriented fundraiser, we welcome anyone who wishes to participate and show their compassion for our neighbors who face challenges in accessing resources and health services, particularly those affected by HIV stigma.

Let's stand together as a community and make a difference in the lives of those affected by HIV. Join AIDS WALK Charlotte and be part of the positive change we wish to see in our city. Together, we can create a future where everyone receives the care, support, and understanding they deserve.

THE IMPACT YOU MAKE

We talk a lot about impact. The clients who find stability. The individuals who feel less alone. The lives our staff are able to connect with and support, helping people move toward a stronger, healthier version of themselves.

None of it happens without the financial support of our community. None of our work is possible without the steady generosity of our individual and monthly donors.

GET
LOUDER

We need to talk about the elephant in the room - there is still a stigma surrounding HIV. It is time to GET LOUDER and support RAIN! The work we do for the Charlotte community is life changing and amazing!

We have the tools to end HIV and you are part of the solution.
