Hot Chocolate Run 2023 for Safe Passage

Having grown up with domestic violence, this is personal to me. Survivors need to know there is help and hope, and that they are not alone.
Thanks for visiting my Hot Chocolate Run fundraising page! I'm participating in the Hot Chocolate Run to support Safe Passage – the Hampshire County organization building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence.
Resilience is a term I've often applied to my mother, and a quality I think I learned from her. A quality I had to learn in early childhood. When I say I'm running the 20th Annual Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage because it's personal, that level of personal includes some pretty traumatic memories that remain. My mom's resilience is one of things I most admire in her. What also remains are the concepts of hope and help, being instilled valuing compassion and community because resilience is so much easier when you know you're not alone. This Sunday will be one of many road races I run, but the mission it supports stands out.So...won't you please support that mission?
Will you help me make a difference for families affected by abuse?Safe Passage delivers an array of support, counseling and prevention services that offer safety, hope and healing to adults and children experiencing violence in Hampshire County and surrounding towns.
And that’s why I am committed to raising money through the Hot Chocolate Run.
Will you join me in standing up for our neighbors experiencing violence and isolation?
Together, we can help meet the needs of the community members that Safe Passage serves through counseling, housing advocacy, children’s services, legal advocacy, and so much more. Safe Passage is able to offer all services free of charge to clients thanks to the generosity of everyone who responds to the Hot Chocolate Run this year.
Please consider making the most meaningful donation you can right now. I will be enormously grateful.
