Run for the Wild 2021 supporting Wildlife Conservation Society

Each year, the WCS Run for the Wild raises awareness of the threats facing wildlife while fundraising to help WCS's conservation work at the Bronx Zoo and around the world.
Time slots for the 5K race for individual runners begin at 8:00 a.m.; casual runners and walkers can take part in the 3K Family Fun Run/Walk that begins at 10:30 a.m. All registered participants are encouraged to stay after the race to enjoy exclusive post-run activities and the entire day at the Bronx Zoo, including all rides and attractions. Special for this year – the Bronx Zoo will only be open for Run participants for the day.
Runners, walkers, and wildlife supporters are invited to participate and/or support a participant.
All adults and senior registrants must also raise at least $35 by April 4th in order to participate. Please see our FAQs for details on required minimum charges and fee increases that will occur on April 5th. Register by April 18th for free shipping of t-shirt and bib!

"The Run for the Wild 5K at the Bronx Zoo has become an annual race for my husband and I. It is so fun to be in the zoo before the park is open and run past the animals. Then you get to stay for the rest of the day and enjoy the zoo!"
