AbilityFirst Glendale Center, one of multiple AbilityFirst locations in Southern California,
offers an afterschool enrichment program for children and young adults with developmental disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome Through person-centered, interest-based activities, the center helps participants achieve their personal goals, especially in the areas of communication, socialization, basic life skills, and healthy living. The center is located on the campus of at the Pacific Avenue Education Center in Glendale and serves the Glendale area and local communities like Burbank, La Canada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, Hollywood, and North Los Angeles.
