AbilityFirst Long Beach Center, one of multiple AbilityFirst locations in Southern California, has provided year-round programs and services for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities, since it first opened its doors in 1966.

Through person-centered, interest-based activities, the center helps participants achieve their personal goals, especially, in the areas of communication, socialization, basic life skills, and healthy living. The center serves Long Beach and surrounding communities including Lakewood, Torrance, Seal Beach, Carson, Bellflower, and Los Alamitos.
