Pet Partners Pet of the Year 2026

Help crown me the 2026 Pet Partners Pet of the Year!

I’m Annie’s human and full-time ride to all of her volunteer shifts. Annie is a registered therapy dog who spends her time visiting counseling centers, community spaces, and hospitals, where she specializes in morale boosts, silent emotional support, and aggressively offering her belly for rubs. I’ve watched her walk into waiting rooms, cancer centers, and busy clinic days and somehow know exactly who needs her most. She has comforted nervous patients, helped staff decompress after long shifts, and accepted thousands of very professional belly rubs in the line of duty. 

We are a member Animal Assisted Crisis Response team, where Annie brings calm, steadiness, and her signature smile to stressful situations in Minnesota (which has been more frequent in the last year, unfortunately). 

I’m fundraising through the Pet Partners Pet of the Year competition because therapy animals like Annie make a real difference in hospitals and community spaces every single day. Your support helps teams like ours keep showing up where comfort is needed most — and helps Annie continue her important volunteer work (aka her meeting her petting quota for the day).
