Although bunnies are the 3rd most popular pet in the US, they are still very misunderstood. Macaron hopes to change that!

Macaron is a certified Pet Partners therapy rabbit serving the Long Beach community and beyond. Found on the side of the road in rainy NorCal, Macaron made his way to sunny SoCal in December 2020. Macaron is the baby of our bonded trio - the LBC Buns - and is constantly doted on by his big sister Marshmallow and big brother Chocolatte.

What makes Macaron special is his gentle, affectionate nature. As an official Pet Partners therapy rabbit, he serves as an ambassador for rabbit welfare and education, showing what well-socialized rabbits can be and bringing comfort to those who need it most. His calm presence and intuitive connection with people demonstrate the powerful bond between humans and rabbits. 

By supporting Macaron's Pet of the Year campaign, you're directly supporting Pet Partners' mission to bring healing through the human-animal bond. Therapy animal teams serve veterans with PTSD, seniors with Alzheimer's, students with literacy challenges, patients in recovery, people with intellectual disabilities, and those approaching end of life.
