What is childhood cancer? It's the number one disease-related cause of death in children in the United States. My daughter was three years old when we experienced childhood cancer; at four years old, we lost her to this beast. We had to make the most complex decisions of our lives. I always thought before, not my child, but it happened. As parents, we did all we could do for our sweet girl. Lennon Kash Black taught me faith, fight, and to keep pushing no matter how I felt. All I strive to do is to make a difference for the children. Book For Hope® ensures no family has to worry about bills at home and gives 32 percent to research. When childhood cancer affects your child, you don't have time to work, and your whole life revolves around tests, scans, bloodwork, and much more. Travel becomes a way of life for families with a child diagnosed with cancer in our area because they cannot locally receive cancer treatment. I'm dancing for the children and families affected so they can keep the lights on at home or keep their mortgage payments up to date. And that is precisely what Book for Hope does. Most of all, I'm dancing for a cure, so no family ever has to be in this position. Just as I plant soybeans, you want to see them grow. I'm Jay black, and I'm Dancing for Gold®.
