Michelle Bowling

My name is Michelle Bowling. I am a 2010 graduate of Carlisle County High School. I have worked for Window World of Paducah for almost eight years. I am involved in community outreach, including local charitable efforts, and our philanthropic entity, Window World Cares, a supporter of St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I am a proud mom of two, Addyson (11) and Hudson (5). I spend most free time as their taxi driver and snack provider, with many late nights at the ballfield under our belt. The rest of the time I spend with family and friends.

When the daughter of my lifelong friend was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at three years old, I was introduced to Book For Hope®. I fell in love with what this organization does in our community for families battling this terrible disease. Although Lennon lost her battle with childhood cancer at four years old, not only did she deserve more than 4 years of life, she deserved more than 4% of federal cancer research funding, only the tiny portion dedicated to childhood cancer.

I am honored to participate in this year’s Dancing for Gold® in memory of Lennon Kash Black and honor every family who knows and has been affected by the battle with childhood cancer.
