I'm dancing to bring children with cancer, hope, joy, and support as they fight the toughest battles of their lives.
My name is Shawn Johnson, and I work in Human Resources at A&K Construction, where I help build more than just commercial projects—I help build people up. I’m a proud Kentuckian with a deep love for Kentucky basketball and football, and when I’m not working, you’ll probably find me fishing, golfing, or out exploring somewhere new.
I’m passionate about giving back to the community and creating job opportunities for those who need a second chance or a fresh start. My goal in life is simple: to be a shining light in the lives of others, offering encouragement, support, and a reason to smile.
This year, I’m dancing for kids with cancer—a cause that’s deeply personal to me. I’ve seen firsthand what cancer can do to a family after watching my mom’s battle. No child should have to go through that kind of fight alone. Through this dance, I hope to raise awareness, bring hope, and support these incredible kids and their families as they face unimaginable challenges.
Whether it’s at work, in the community, or out on the dance floor, I strive to lead with heart and purpose in everything I do.
