For over 165 years, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis has never lost sight of the needs of others. Whether teaching kids the skills to remain safe around water, helping cancer survivors regain health or preparing teens for success in college, the YMCA has been there.
The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis was founded in 1854. Since then, we have remained dedicated to ensuring that all people have the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, connected and secure.
The Y welcomes everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives empower people to grow in spirit, mind and body. We enable kids to realize their potential; prepare teens for college; let families have fun together; prepare people for employment; welcome and embrace newcomers; and help foster an ethic of service.
The Y is proud to participate in our 3rd annual Day of Giving and highlight the amazing things we are able to do for the greater Indianapolis area. Did you know that we provided over $8 million in scholarship dollars in 2019? Your gift can provide necessary child care, innovative health programs, and a sense of community through a Y membership.
