Team Missy

Thank you for your support of the Norton Cancer Institute!

Missy Farfsing was a beloved member of the Bike to Beat Cancer family for more than a decade. In 2014, she volunteered to take on a larger leadership role and took on the monumental task of coordinating more than 500 volunteers across two days.  Each year, she spent countless hours making sure we had enough volunteers to support the ride and to ensure each of those volunteers had a great experience.  She was at Bike to Beat Cancer before the first light of dawn, and she would not leave until the last rider crossed the Finish Line.

Missy loved live music and the beach, even better when both came together. She was a loyal friend and was dedicated to her job at Norton Healthcare as Director of Provider Development. What drove Missy the most were her causes; most notably her tireless work with Bike to Beat Cancer.

Missy loved her family dearly and leaves behind her husband, Paul Farfsing; daughters Cara and Ramsey Farfsing; father and stepmother Albert and Sue Wilson; mother and stepfather Judy and Bruce Hollkamp; sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Mike Robbins and nieces Mia and Callie Robbins; sister and brother-in-law Tracy and Jason Jump and nephew and niece Sam and Emie Dunagan.

Missy’s legacy will not only continue to live on through her family and friends but will also continue on through her incredible work and leadership on the Bike to Beat Cancer.
