My name is Bob Lawler, and I live in southern Illinois. I am single at this time because my wife passed from Alzheimer’s disease. My previous wife died of brain cancer.
I understand that Children’s cancer only gets 4% of all the money allotted from the Federal Government for cancer research. So this is a driving force for me to do all that I can to help local people with children struggling with the expense of taking care of the child.
I was born and raised in the small town of Ridgway, Illinois on a small farm. I’m one of five siblings that had a wonderful childhood. We went to Church, ate our meals, and worked together as a family.
I love to dance as it is a stress reliever for me. I also like to golf when I’m not dancing.
So, if you know someone with a child with cancer or if you should have a child or grandchild with cancer, please REACH DOWN IN YOUR HEART AND SUPPORT ME AS I WILL DANCE FOR GOLD FOR THESE CHILDREN.
