About Laken:
My name is Laken Lasher and I am a resident of Livingston County, Kentucky. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Wes Lasher. We have two precious boys, Warren (3) and Silas (1) and our blue heeler, Lola. Our boys are the light of our world, and we are so blessed to call them ours.
If you know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE to travel, even if it’s just a quick road trip or a trip around the world, I am down to go and plan every last detail. I enjoy spending time with my kids, friends and family, anything outdoors, and always up for any adventure.
I have a deep-rooted passion for helping others and feel like it is truly a calling that has molded my career path. I started my nursing career as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse where I took care of the most vulnerable and fragile population for 9 years. I absolutely loved this job and seeing miracles happen every single day.
When my gramps was diagnosed with cancer, and shortly after, my gran, I felt a push to further my career and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, where I started my career with Baptist Health Paducah and currently still with them today. I knew after taking care of them I wanted to broaden my abilities and make a difference in even the adult population.
I have a true desire for helping others through every hurdle they may face, whether big or small. I have a passion for my current patients along with all the children I have taken care of in my career.
