Tony Copeland studied Marketing at Western Kentucky University. He is employed by Arkema Inc. in Calvert City. Tony has been the Senior Maintenance and Store Supervisor/Planner at Arkema Inc. for 29 years. Prior to holding his current position, he was the Regional Purchasing Agent for the Calvert City, KY, and Memphis, TN locations for 14 years.
Mr. Copeland was one of the Co-Founders of “Citizens for a Better Community” in Princeton, Ky which focused on educating the youth of the community on their heritage and preparing them for today’s society. Tony was also the Asst Basketball Coach for Caldwell County High School during the 1991-1995 Boys basketball seasons.
Tony recently served as a member of the Board of Directors for The Paducah Chamber of Commerce for 8 years. Mr. Copeland currently serves as a Board of Director for Baptist Hospital, Board of Director for Baptist Health Foundation, Board of Director for Community Scholarship Program, Board of Director for Rolling Hills Country Club, Board of Director for Lifeline Recovery Center, and Board of Director for the McCracken County Community Career Endowment, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Independence Bank in the Paducah Area. Tony is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and serves as the Keeper of Records and Seals for that organization. Tony is also a member of the Paducah-McCracken County Chapter of the NAACP.
Tony’s greatest strengths are his drive, leadership, creativity, and negotiating skills, which he obtained from the Darden School of Virginia.
Tony Copeland lives in Paducah, Kentucky with his wife Angela Copeland (Director of Finance for Paducah City Schools) and their two children, Gabrielle (Sophomore attending the University of Kentucky) and Mason (Sophomore attending Paducah Tilghman High School). When not working, Tony enjoys golfing and traveling with his family. Tony finds strength while spending time with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
