Bob Wilson

Bob Wilson

Bob Wilson resides in the greater New York area…. New York, KY that is! His rural setting serves his lifestyle well! Bob is an active and avid outdoorsman. He appreciates nature's goodness through early morning walks, hiking, hunting, training Llewellin setters and an occasional evening of porch sitting with good music and a slow sipping Kentucky bourbon.

Bob was blessed in his vocation as a longtime educator in the Ballard and Carlisle County School systems, where he retired in 2021.

Bob strongly believes in a purposeful life, so he moved on to a new career soon after. He currently serves his community as Customer Relations Lender with Citizens Deposit Bank of Wickliffe. Bob also presides as the Chairman of the Paducah area BNI Impact group.

Bob has served his community, church, and various civic-minded organizations over the years. His reason for doing so is that he understands that the good we enjoy today is because someone put in the time yesterday!

Bob’s proudest accomplishment is his wonderful and successful daughters, Storm, and Zoe Wilson.

Followed by:

Orchestrating, along with the four River County judges of Ballard, Carlisle, Hickman, and Fulton, the West Kentucky Alliance for a Vibrant Economy Ag Day. The day is to promote the growth of innovation and economic development in the river region.

His why for Dancing for Gold®? Taking the C and replacing it with D, Dancer! It is his hope that his small part will provide our kids the inspiration, courage, and resources to dance in the mirror…., in the rain…., with those they love…., for many years to come!
