Dancing for Gold® 2023 supporting Book for Hope®

Hi, my name is Bobby Davidson. I have been married to my wonderful and beautiful wife, Jacqueline, for seven years. I love sharing my life with her and our four dogs. In December 2022, we had our first child, Beau. I graduated Department Of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky in 2006. I have been in law enforcement for 16 years, 12 years as the Sheriff of Livingston County. I love hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. It was an honor to be asked to dance in this year's Dancing for Gold® event. I lost my mother and sister to cancer, along with a dear friend who taught me to dance. Dancing was something we shared and made so many good memories doing. Cancer is a horrible disease.
"Cancer can take away all of my physical abilities. It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my soul." — Jim Valvano
